The author [tm] has not seen a Palermo marcasite specimen previously. Marcasite is listed in the The Pegmatite Mines Known as Palermo book by Whitmore & Lawrence.

Field Collected: From a box of small rock chunks gifted by Bob Whitmore Catalog No.: u1524 Notes: Based on mindat photos, these distinct griefensteinite crystals are as good as any, world-wide. Pseudocubic goyazite is also present on this specimen.
